    • How does it work?
    • We could talk about it, but that's against the Ninja code. Just kidding, check out this page: how it works

    • Who is posting the Missions?
    • Anyone and everyone! It can be a national brand that needs help with marketing, a tech company needing feedback on an app, a local business needing more people to work an event, or a business professional needing design or programming help.
    • Who are these Ninjas? Can I trust them?
    • All of our Ninjas are students on campus who are pre-screened and vetted to ensure they are the best of the best. Additionally, when picking a Ninja, you can see their previous Mission history and reviews.
    • I'm in a hurry - how long do these Missions take to complete?
    • When posting a Mission, you dictate the start time, end time, and specific location and details. If you need something done within a few hours, our Ninjas will know that and take care of business for you.
    • Do Ninjas work for Ninjathat? How do they get paid?
    • Ninjas are independent contractors who want to use their specialized skill sets to make your life easier. Regarding the payment process - we serve as the middle man between you and the Ninja, and coordinate the payments as well. For information regarding the taxes, please see our terms of service.

  • For mission posters

    • What can I post for a Mission?
    • From marketing to app testing, to photography and web design, our goal is to help you get things done quickly. Check out some current missions right here, or review this page for more examples.

    • How much does it cost? What are the pricing options?
    • When posting your Mission, you determine the price. You can view previous missions for sample pricing or simply ask us if you have any questions. On top of the Mission price, we charge a platform service fee.
    • When do I pay these Ninjas?
    • The great thing about our platform is that you don't pay the Ninja until you have confirmed and verified the Mission is completed. When posting a Mission you determine the verification methods - from uploading pictures, providing a video, to giving you a call. Once this is done, you simply confirm the Mission is complete and we'll take care of the rest.
    • What happens if I forget to confirm that the Mission is complete? I don't want to anger a Ninja...
    • You're right - angering a Ninja is not the wisest move! We know things happen and you might forget to confirm that a Mission is complete. If we don't receive Mission confirmation/dispute within 48 hours of the Ninja posting verification, we'll assume everything worked out and pay the Ninja.
    • What if I don't want to pick the Ninjas?
    • No worries at all, simply select the 'auto-assign' option and we'll give your Mission to the most qualified Ninja available.
    • What if I want to pick a specific Ninja?
    • Great! After posting your Mission, available Ninjas will place their bids. From here, you can check out each Ninja's previous Missions, read their reviews, and pick the Ninja you want.
    • What if my Mission requires expenses or out of pocket costs?
    • We know that some tasks may require the Ninja to cover expenses. When posting your Mission, you can enter the range of acceptable expenses. Once the Ninja completes the Mission, they will note the actual amount of expenses they incurred, and can upload the receipts if needed. These expenses will be reimbursed at the same time as payment for the Mission.
    • What if I need to edit or cancel a Mission?
    • You can edit or cancel any Mission that hasn't been assigned to a Ninja. If it has been assigned, please email us at team@ninjathat.com and we'll try our best to modify your Mission.
    • How do I pay the Ninja?
    • When entering in your Mission details, you will be asked for payment information - currently we only accept credit cards - which will be securely stored in our systems. Please remember that you will not be charged until your Mission is completed and verified. All transactions are done safely through PayPal.
    • Can I rate and review my Ninja?
    • Not only can you, but we strongly encourage it. As you know, a Ninja's reputation is his/her livelihood. By providing accurate ratings and reviews, our Ninjas can move up in rankings and take on more elite Missions. If you have a bad experience for a Ninja, we want to make sure we are aware of this so we can better train the Ninja. As you'll see when reviewing bids, you are also able to view each Ninja's ratings and reviews to make better selections for your needs.

    • How does the bidding process work for Ninjas?
    • As a Ninja, you get to decide how much you would like to get paid for taking on a Mission. There is a suggested bid amount available, but the choice is yours. Keep in mind that other Ninjas will be bidding as well, and the Mission poster will then review and select a Ninja that fits their needs the best.
    • How do I know how much to bid?
    • When viewing the Mission details, you'll see the suggested bid pricing. This price is calculated by taking a 20% range (high and low) of the price asked by the Mission poster. Depending on your experience and history as a Ninja, you may want to bid low or bid high. If you have a great track record of being an awesome Ninja, you may be able to bid higher than others since the Mission poster will feel comfortable knowing the job will get done quickly. If you are a newer Ninja trying to move up the ranks, you may want to bid lower and take on a few Missions to establish yourself.
    • How and when do I get paid?
    • Once you complete the Mission and verify it through the methods the Mission poster requested, you will be paid within 48 hours. The Mission poster will have a chance to review and confirm everything is done, and as long as there is nothing to dispute, we'll process the payments right away into your Ninjathat account. You can leave the money in the account, use the money to post your own Missions, or cash out and buy yourself something special.
    • I saw pictures of sweet headbands, where do I get one?
    • Headbands can only be earned, not bought, wise Ninja.

    • As fellow Ninjas, we understand that your credibility is your livelihood. Please email us at team@ninjathat.com and we'll be happy to get things sorted out.
    • How do I refer a friend, and what do I get?
    • Thanks for spreading the word! After your friend signs up and takes on a Mission, we'll add $5 to your account. You can either cash out and buy yourself something nice, or post a Mission and use your money that way.
